Technical Assessments

A Technical Assessment (TA) is a report required by SEAI (The Sustainable Energy Authority ​of Ireland) in order to complete the Grant Application form for the Heat Pump grant, one of ​ the largest grants available under the Better Energy Homes Scheme and amounting to €3,500.​

Green Scene Environmental provide a full BER and TA.​

If you already have a BER Certificate for your home then a BER Survey is not required for ​The Technical Assessment. If there is no current BER certificate then a new BER cert ​ would be required to generate the Technical Assessment.​

A typical Technical Assessment fee is €200 (only payable when Heat Pump grant monies are ​drawn down), while a BER Cert starts at €250.​
